Struck-watch 2008
This is Erin and Brad. Erin is a Murphy Girl by birth (they of the impossibly pretty eyes and fabulous hair) and is a Struck by marriage. We love Erin and Brad.
Erin should be having a baby sometime today. I'm sad not to be getting a birthday buddy, but who am I to ask a very pregnant woman to remain very pregnant (venturing into very, very pregnant territory) and therefore uncomfortable in hopes that someone else will share my birthday. You know, other than Steven Spielberg
UPDATE: Welcome Caden Heath Struck into the world! 8lbs, 4oz.

Conflicted
Avery is sad his Mavs lost last night and are therefore out of the playoffs. And, consequently, he's out of a job.He was so sure they were going to pull this off, he bought himself a new tie.

The ref didn't like the tie and ordered Avery into a more appropriate purple for the somber occasion. The ref said if his wishes weren't followed, he was going to squish Avery's head.
I'll miss you, Avery. And your squished little head.

Kylie's party
Another day at the zoo
Kylie turned one on April 6th and her party was the following Saturday. Some cousins and their families came in for the occasion and we took them to the zoo.
Below, MIL Janice, SIL Kristy and the kids wondering what the hell is going on.
Will and Kylie are trying to broker some sort of deal, with Cousin Madilyn acting as arbitrator.

Updates
Will is officially my child, in case you were wondering. Yesterday, he managed to lock himself in the bathroom.
When I got home from work , Tiny was very clingy with me. I wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom without him, so he came with me as I did my bidness. After I explained what I was doing as I was doing it--sort of like being my own color commentator of urination--I closed the lid, washed my hands and turned around to get Will to follow me out of the bathroom. He thought it would be cute to push me out of the room and shut the door.
And somehow manage to turn the lock.
Being the bad parent I am, I start laughing. Then I start going mentally going through the cabinets to figure out what poisonous/hazardous things are in there for Will to eat. Thankfully, since I don't clean often enough for the bathroom to have its own set of cleaning products, there's nothing in there for Will to consume. Although there is $20 worth of toilet paper that he could destroy pretty easily.
