Good-bye old friend

I did it.

I smoked my last cigarette. I have officially quit. I'm not pregnant.

Please congratulate me so I can read back on comments during moments of weakness when I invariably think "Gosh, $7 for a pack really isn't that bad".

Start now.

EDIT:
In all seriousness, thanks everybody--I really appreciate it.

Every day you'll feel three kinds of better - physically, mentally, and financially. You and the family will live longer and be less limited. My son will be able to visit your house without an inhaler. Will will have more respect for you.

Great job Jill! We are so proud of you for quiting. You are going to live longer, feel better, and have more money. Go treat yourself to something--great pair of shoes, massage, or whatever makes you happy. You did it and you can stick with it! Keep it up girl!

Love ya,
Misty & Adam :0)

We are very proud of you! Know that you will always struggle with wanting just one more, but keep strong and remember that if you can just hang in there you are increasing the odds tremendously that you will be around to enjoy & spoil Will's grandchildren (like Grandma & Grandpa Lagaly are enjoying our grandchildren)! Great grandparents are really special to little ones, especially if they are halfway healthy!

Love you,

Robert & Janice

You can do it. Seriously. I did it 8 years ago and haven't had one since. And $7 a pack is ridiculous. That right there is enough incentive to quit. Or maybe I'm just cheap. LOL

And ditto everything Rob said.

Good job Jill. Quiting will save you from getting asthma, and trust me on this one, asthma is no fun.

OMG, I'm so behind...

More time with Will is worth it. That's all you need to know.
